The Leadership Team at the Life Links Church is called the Eldership. The Eldership comprises men of different ages and backgrounds that provide oversight for the spiritual direction and governance of the church.
Besides Pastor Tony, the Eldership includes the following men and women who work hard to provide excellent leadership and help our church become everything God meant it to be in its ministry to the city of Ararat:
Michael Peter
Michael is married to his beautiful wife, Martie, and they have two children. Michael has a Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences, as well as a Bachelors degree in Optometry. Michael practises optometry in private practice, as he and Martie own the Specsavers franchise in Stawell and Horsham. Besides serving as an elder in our church, Michael is also involved in worship leading and he coordinates our Rise-Up! Men's Group. Michael's vision and passion is to engage with men in our community encouraging them to Rise-Up! and be the men God intended them to be.
Bruce Bartlett
Bruce is married to Kara and they have four wonderful children, Thomas, Isabella, Jack & Charlie. Bruce enjoys being involved in the local Ararat community. He has a Bachelor of Engineering (Product Design Engineering) and is an engineer with a local manufacturer having been involved in the design of farm equipment. Bruce enjoys producing merchandise for Australian farmers. Bruce has a strong desire to contribute to the Church and is dedicated to using his gifts and abilities to further the Kingdom of God. He enjoys playing bass guitar as part of the church worship team, and is also involved with the Rise-Up! Men's Group. Bruce also makes a valuable contribution to our Leadership Team as the Church Secretary.
